Interfaith Ceremonies

It will be your beliefs (or none) that I honour and respect in your ceremony. If you want a personal ceremony that is fun loving, in a style that suits you both or perhaps with a spiritual element such as a reading, prayer, hymn or blessing then it really isn't a problem.

You may decide you want a completely non-religious ceremony then change your mind and that is absolutely fine.

Initial Consultation


We will meet together to discuss your wishes and thoughts for your big day and for me to get a really good understanding of what you want. Together we will start to design your special ceremony, this consultation normally lasts 60- 90 minutes. It is normal for the couple to both attend however please feel free to include a family member/friend if you wish.


Your Vows


I will work with you by offering many suggestions for your vows, helping you to write them or even listen to you practice them. I have been a professional speaker for many years and I am willing to provide all the guidance you might need to help you feel confident on the day.


Your Music, Readings, Poems


I have many suggestions to offer to you and will help guide you as to what will work well within the timings you want for your ceremony. I am happy to provide suggestions to you and I often search for new recommendations for couples once I have met them and know what they might like.




Your Story


I will ask you to complete a short questionnaire about your love story, how you met, your personalities, your future plans etc. This helps me to truly make your ceremony personal and get to know you more helping me to create the type of ceremony you would want. This can be done via email.


Your Draft Ceremony and Script


I will provide you with a draft Ceremony and Script to give you the opportunity to consider if you are happy with the style of ceremony you have chosen and to make sure the words I will speak on the day will truly reflect your personalities, your humour and your wishes for your service.


You may wish to change or add some stories, quotes or other elements to the script, this is no problem, we will work together to design a ceremony you are comfortable with and can look forward to. Most couples have 2-3 versions and I am with you all the way and we will finalise the script together when you are happy with it.
