“When we decided to get married and thought about a Celebrant, we both immediately knew it had to be Barbara. Sadly my father had passed away in recent years and Barbara supported us during that difficult time and provided a wonderful farewell ceremony. We knew that her professionalism, caring nature and understanding of our sense of humour would make her perfect for our big day.

Right from the beginning, Barbara was there to talk through all the options and listen to what we wanted and didn’t want. She suggested ideas to involve our children and on how to make it special and fun.  Everyone loved it, in fact they are still raving about it, we had a ritual with the Quaich (loving cup) and a handfasting, nothing was too much trouble for Barbara. We couldn’t recommend her more!  And…we already have, as a couple of our friends at our wedding have booked her too! Thank you Barbara” April 2018

“Trying to plan a renewal vows in Scotland when you live in England wasn’t easy. It was a challenge trying to find a Celebrant who was flexible in the style of ceremony we wanted and within our budget. We found Barbara on Facebook and from the moment we contacted her, she was helpful and offered lots of suggestions. My Dad was from Scotland and it was important for me to include something Scottish and traditional in the ceremony.

Barbara was happy to email back and forward, talk on the phone and then provide a full draft of the ceremony for us to make sure it was just what we dreamed of. She encouraged us to create our own vows and provided lots of samples to work from. It was such a special day and my daughter made a speech in the ceremony too. We were delighted. Glasgow and our visit to Scotland were wonderful. Don’t hesitate to contact Barbara, she is friendly and helpful and we are happy to recommend her” June 2018
